Black Pearl takes the Comedy Luau to Little Rock, Arkansas - The Joe Johnson Foundation has supported Black Pearl for several years. This year, Joe Johnson and his family could not be in attendance at the Huntsville event. Ms. Dianne Johnson, Joe's mother, was very disappointed that she would not be there. Black Pearl being the compassionate person that he is, decided to orchestrate a way for her to 'see' what she missed. Thus, was born a road trip to Little Rock, Arkansas, packed with his comedian partner, comedy luau decorator, DJ and his gear, Ghetto Shakespear and his gear, his managers and his personal papparazzi. Ms. Dianne was the guest of honor and she and her guests were definitely in for a treat. Comedian Barbara Carlyle rolled the guests with her hilarious jokes and Ghetto Shakespear stepped up his performance with an unexpected ending as he glided into the swimming pool while he was still singing, and still in his wardrobe. That move was so unexpected that it became the most talked about scene for the duration of the luau. That performance has now been named "The Walk on the Water". Thanks Ms. Dianne and Joe for all that you do for Black Pearl Select.
